HOW DO I FIND OUT MY CAMERA SERIES

The camera series will be the last 2 characters of your product model number. e.g. PR109-W-RH (your camera is RH series)

 

 

HOW TO LOGIN TO THE CAMERA'S WEB INTERFACE TO ACCESS ALL FEATURES

Download and run the Search tool on PC / Mac (make sure you get the right one for your series).

The computer should be on the same network as the camera.

It will show you a list of cameras on that network with its IP address. Choose your camera and double click on it or enter the IP address into a web browser.

 

Choose the language first. (screen may refresh right after)

 

Login with default credentials

Username: admin

Password: admin

 

 

HOW MUCH STORAGE DO I NEED?

Storage requirements differ based upon the resolution being recorded in.

On a 32GB SD card you will be able to record for:

VGA Resolution (640 x 480 pixels) - 14 days

720P HD - 3 days - Video Streaming: 2Mbps (0.25MB/s)

1080p HD - 2 days - Video Streaming: 4Mbps (0.5MB/s)

 

 

WHAT SD CARD SHOULD I USE FOR STORAGE?

Use a branded (Sandisk, kingston, etc.) card. It should be class 10.

 

 

WHAT IS MY CAMERA UID NUMBER AND HOW CAN I FIND IT?

 A UID number is your camera's Unique Identification Number. It is a 15 digit alphanumeric string with 2 dashes in the middle.

It is printed on a sticker that is stuck at the back or under your camera, usually next to a QR code.

 

 

UNABLE TO SEARCH FOR THE CAMERA WITH SEARCH TOOL

Maybe your camera is on a different subnet e.g. 192.168.0.1 while my camera IP is 192.168.1.128.

We ship it in DHCP by default.

Another reason could be that your computer and camera are not on the same network or are located on different branches of the network. They should be connected at the same level (i.e. directly to the same router, whether wired or wifi)

 

 

HOW CAN I CHANGE THE CAMERA'S PASSWORD?

When you see the camera 'Online' in the app then enter into the advanced settings.

> User Setting

You will see the option to change the password there.

 

 

WHAT ARE THE PASSWORD RESTRICTIONS?

The password length is 8 characters at most.

All alphanumeric characters in upper and lower case are allowed.

There are certain special characters such as "SPACE", #, <, >, ", /, ?, etc. which cannot be used as part of the password.

The password is case sensitive

 

 

MY CAMERA IS NOT CONNECTING TO MY WIFI ROUTER

There are a couple of reasons possible for this.

1. There are some special characters in the name (SSID) of your wifi network

2. We have integrated all major brands of routers to work with it. However, if you use a 3G / 4G wifi router or lesser known brand of wifi router it may be possible it has not been integrated with our cameras.

 

 

HOW TO RESET THE CAMERA TO FACTORY DEFAULT.

Press the reset button on the camera for about 30 seconds.

 

 

EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS ARE NOT BEING RECEIVED TO MY EMAIL BOX

As there will be many notifications, your email provider like google may not deliver such notifications thinking it maybe spam.

First check your spam email box and whitelist these emails. If you do not see the emails in spam then download this document which outlines how to authorize the emails. Click here to download.
